Pipedream integration
The arteemis components for Pipedream start a workflow when something happens in arteemis, and let any workflow act in arteemis: create or update contacts, fill lists, enroll contacts in campaigns, move them in the pipeline and open tasks. They connect with a key of your arteemis workspace.
What it does
Sources
- New Reply (Instant), Contact Status Changed (Instant), Lead Entered Campaign (Instant), Lead Left Campaign (Instant), Message Sent (Instant), LinkedIn Invitation Accepted (Instant), New Task (Instant), Pipeline Stage Changed (Instant), Background Job Finished (Instant).
Actions
- Create or Update Contact: matched on email, then LinkedIn profile.
- Add Contact to List.
- Enroll Contact in Campaign.
- Add or Move Contact in Pipeline.
- Create Task.
- Find Contact: by email or LinkedIn profile URL.
- List Contact Lists, List Campaigns, List Pipeline Stages.
Each source creates its own webhook in arteemis when it is deployed, checks the signature of each delivery, and deletes the webhook when it is removed.
Requirements
- A Pipedream account.
- A workspace key of arteemis, made by an owner or admin in Settings > MCP & API. A member's personal token also works for the actions, with their own role; sources need a workspace key or the admin role.
- A free webhook slot: a workspace holds 50 webhooks, and each deployed source uses one.
Set it up
Make a workspace key
- 1Sign in to arteemis and open Settings > MCP & API.
- 2Under the API, name a key and choose Create key. Copy it at once: it is shown only once. It starts with art_key_.
Connect in Pipedream
- 1In Pipedream, connect your arteemis account and paste the key.
- 2Add an arteemis source to start a workflow, or an arteemis action as one of its steps, and deploy.
Data exchanged
| Data | Direction | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Events | arteemis to Pipedream | The source's event: the contact (name, email address, LinkedIn profile, job title, company, status, custom fields) and, as the event has them, the message, campaign, enrollment, task, stage or job. |
| Results | arteemis to Pipedream | The contact found or written; your lists, campaigns and pipeline stages. |
| Contacts | Pipedream to arteemis | Created or updated by the actions: name, email, LinkedIn profile, company, custom fields. |
| Lists, campaigns, pipeline, tasks | Pipedream to arteemis | A contact added to a list, enrolled in a campaign, added or moved in the pipeline; a task opened. |
| Webhooks | Pipedream to arteemis | The address of each deployed source. |
Disconnect
- Remove a source in Pipedream: its webhook is deleted in arteemis.
- To cut every access at once, revoke the key in Settings > MCP & API: every call made with it is then refused.
- arteemis keeps nothing of Pipedream besides the webhook addresses of the deployed sources.
Troubleshooting
- The source does not deploy: it needs the admin role
- The key is a personal token of a member who is not an admin. Use a workspace key.
- The source does not deploy: limit reached
- Your workspace already holds 50 webhooks. Remove the sources you no longer use.
- Events arrive about a minute late
- arteemis sends its webhooks once a minute. A delivery that fails is retried for about 21 hours, then the webhook is switched off after 3 days of failures.
- Request failed with status code 401
- The key was revoked or mistyped. Make a new one and reconnect the account.
