n8n integration
The arteemis community node for n8n (n8n-nodes-arteemis) brings two nodes: arteemis Trigger, which starts a workflow on arteemis events, and arteemis, which creates or updates contacts, finds them, adds them to lists, enrolls them in campaigns, moves them in the pipeline and opens tasks. It connects with a key of your arteemis workspace.
What it does
arteemis Trigger
- One or more events: New Reply, Contact Status Changed, Lead Entered Campaign, Lead Left Campaign, Message Sent, LinkedIn Invitation Accepted, New Task, Pipeline Stage Changed, Background Job Finished.
- Verify Signature, on by default, checks each call against the secret arteemis returns for the webhook, and answers 401 to anything else.
arteemis node
- Contact: Create or Update: matched on email, then LinkedIn profile; optional company, list and custom fields.
- Contact: Find: by email or LinkedIn profile URL.
- List: Add Contact.
- Campaign: Enroll Contact.
- Pipeline: Add or Move Contact: adding ends the contact's live sequences.
- Task: Create: a call or a to-do.
arteemis only calls https addresses on a public host: an n8n at http://localhost cannot receive events. Use n8n Cloud, or a self-hosted n8n with a public https address (WEBHOOK_URL).
Requirements
- An n8n instance that can install community nodes.
- A workspace key of arteemis, made by an owner or admin in Settings > MCP & API. A member's personal token also works for the actions, with their own role; the trigger needs a workspace key or the admin role.
- For the trigger, a public https address for your n8n, and a free webhook slot (a workspace holds 50).
Set it up
Install the node
- 1In n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes, choose Install and enter n8n-nodes-arteemis.
Make a workspace key
- 1Sign in to arteemis and open Settings > MCP & API.
- 2Under the API, name a key and choose Create key. Copy it at once: it is shown only once. It starts with art_key_.
Connect in n8n
- 1In n8n, create an arteemis API credential and paste the key as its API Key. Leave Base URL at https://api.arteemis.xyz/api/v1.
- 2Add arteemis Trigger or arteemis to a workflow and pick that credential. Lists, campaigns and stages are offered in dropdowns.
- 3Activate the workflow: the trigger registers its webhook in arteemis, and removes it when the workflow is deactivated.

Disconnect
- Deactivate the workflow: its webhook is removed from arteemis.
- To cut every access at once, revoke the key in Settings > MCP & API: every call made with it is then refused.
- arteemis keeps nothing of n8n besides the webhook addresses of the active triggers.
Troubleshooting
- The trigger receives nothing
- Your n8n must be reachable over https on a public address: set WEBHOOK_URL on a self-hosted n8n. arteemis calls within a minute of the event.
- The trigger cannot be activated: it needs the admin role
- The credential holds a personal token of a member who is not an admin. Use a workspace key.
- The same event arrived twice
- A delivery is retried for about 21 hours until it succeeds. Use the event's id to skip a repeat.
- Calls answer 401
- The key was revoked or mistyped. Make a new one and update the credential.
